Apparently there is no way to disable this in Windows 7, or it is already disabled but I can not find any information about this.Ĭould someone shed some lights on this? How can I disable it? The malware, using autorun.inf executes malware.exe (which is located inside the device) as soon as you put in your usb device. You know when you put in a removable device - and if you are unlucky it has malware in it. I get up articles about Autoplay, but those are two different things! I have googled and went to Microsoft support site and tried to find out how I can disable autorun on Windows 7. Either that, or people confuse Autoplay and Autorun! Apparently there is no good information about this on the web.
